Annotes

There are three kinds of notes afoot (sorry) here:

• Development notes, contained in the newly retitled WMdevnotes.html, that provide a narrative of the progress being made on the piece
• What in print would be called just Notes, that elucidate the text, are long enough to require their own page(s), and will be part of the final product -- e.g., WyrmesMete.html (what tells you how to pronounce the damn title among other things...)
• Tech notes having to do with the work-in-progress, that detail work yet to be done, are long enough that I don't want to deface the page they refer to, and will not survive in the final product -- e.g., this page

[24Feb2001] Presently all links go to MortalityTOC.html, until such time as I decide what to do with the three versions. Rob's recommendations [insert link when you figure out how to, Billbo.] need to be consulted. All three versions are on this TOC page, for easy reference, in case that helps...

His Portrait Speaks -- false starts.
[27Feb2001] Presently the link from chapbook arrangement (i.e., from the first column in contents2.html, and from chap-poet.html) go to the old single-page version (HisPortraitSpeaks.html), because it contains the false starts. Not sure what to do about this going forward. Other arrangements (i.e., second & third columns in contents2.html, chrono-hist.html, and charac-novel.html) link directly to the provisional start (portspeaks1.html), with its lovely photo (59schbd400.jpg).
